Has it really been five months,
Since I got back together with him,
After a short breakup?
Has it really been four months,
Since I needed you more than ever,
And was forced to lean on the shoulders of my boyfriend?
Has it really been three months,
Since I started dreaming of you,
Almost every single night?
Has it really been two months,
Since I went to a movie with you and your family,
Because your parents wanted to see me again?
Has it really been one month,
Since I started wanting you again,
And crying when I remembered you?
Has it really been one day,
Since my sister told me,
She knew I still loved you?
Has it really been so long?
A jumble of time?

stay with the one you have now. don't choose your ex over this other guy. you've been there, done that, and like you said he's a jerk. he's probably TRYING to get you back, he may not be such a good guy again if you leave the boyfriend you have now for your ex.
