Ms. Europe- Chapter 11- Part 4- The School

"Sarah, have you washed the white clothing yet?" Mrs. Johns asked.
"No, well, I’m about to put it in right now, why?"
"I have a phone number I need to call in one of the pockets in my white blouse. Where is it?" Mrs. Johns said.
"Uh--Oh, yeah, I saw it in the basket with all the white clothing in the laundry room."
"Thank you, sweetie."
She scurried to the laundry room, almost falling with her high heels.
I gasped, "Are you Ok, Mrs. Johns?" I shouted across the hall.
She gave me thumbs up.
I gave her thumbs up back.
Mrs. Johns has a lot of calling to do today, I wonder who she’s going to call, I thought.
She called the school this morning, she called the county, called her co-designer--whatever that is-- and she called the hospital from where Annie, Harry, and Jenna were born--I guess to find the birth certificates-- And she called the bank, also.
Later that day, we were all having a snack at the dinner table.
"Annie, Jenna, Harry, I have good news!" Mrs. Johns said excited.
"You kids are going to the best school in London," She began.
"London’s Children's Academy!" She said.
Annie was shocked; Harry and Jenna didn't really see that as 'Exciting".
"You got US into LCA!?" Annie asked surprised.
"THAT’S THE BEST SCHOOL IN THE DISTRICT OF LONDON!" Annie said excitedly.
Annie went up to Mrs. Johns and hugged her.
"Whets the big deal? It’s still a school." Harry said.
"Yes, it's a school, but, that school gives high school credits and it gives college credits, too. It has programs you can join and it's the top school, and well, you know, ITS GREAT!" Annie explained.
Harry blinked.
Jenna just stared.
"So all day you were making calls for LCA?" I asked.
Mrs. Johns nodded.
"Wow."

It was June 7, tomorrow was the first day of school for Jenna, Harry, and Annie.
We went to "Rulerz" store. It has school supplies, and it was CORWDED! I had the list in my hands of what to take to school:

1. Back pack
2. Four #2 pencils
3. A red pen
4. Line paper.
5. 7 colorful folders
6. Ruler
7. Drawing paper

"Ok, what back pack would you like?" Mrs. Johns asked Jenna.
Jenna observed all the shelves of the back packs.
"I like this pink one." Jenna pointed to a pink back pack that had flowers and butterflies.
"Ew, it looks like someone threw up on it." Harry said.
Jenna glared at Harry.
"Don't listen to him, Jenna; it's a very beautiful back pack, good choice." I said.
"Ok, Harry, which one?" Mrs. Johns asked.
Harry looked.
He took FOREVER!
He finally found a black back pack, it said, JANSPORT on it.
"You know, I saw one of those in New York when Annie was a baby and Ma and Papa and I went to the U.S." I said.
"Ok, Annie, which one?" Mrs. Johns asked.
Annie handed me Louie to hold while she chooses.
She looked.
She found a light baby blue back pack, which sooted her well. She loves blue.
"Ok, the pencils are over in aisle 5, Annie go get--4X3=12--Get 12 pencils!" I said.
Annie ran to aisle 5.
"Ruler, line papers and red pens are also in aisle 5, Jenna and Harry, go with Annie." I said.
Louie started to cry.
"This - is a lot of work for a 15 year old girl with 4 little brothers and sisters." I mumbled.
